Standing Butt Lifts

How to Do Standing Butt Lifts

1. Stand sideways next to a wall. Stretch one hand out and push your palm against the wall. Keep your knees slightly bent.

2. Keep your knee relaxed then lift the outside leg (the one away from the wall) out to the side. Keep your foot flexed and lift the leg as far up as possible without moving your upper body. Return to the starting position. Complete you repetitions with on one side, then repeat on the other side.

Standing Butt Lifts Tip

Use your outer thigh and butt muscles to raise your leg.

Repetitions of Standing Butt Lifts:

First 2 weeks:
Do 1 set of 5-10 repeats, each side, 4 days/week.
Second 2 weeks:
Do 2 sets of 10-20 repeats, each side, 4 days/week.
Ongoing:
Do 3 sets of 20-30 repeats, each side, 4 days/week.
