10 minutes of stretching each day helps to maintain flexibility and a lean appearance. It is best to stretch all muscle groups rather than just one area.
Doing Stretching Exercises
Avoid jerking your body or forcing it to do more than you can. Move slowly into a stretch until you feel resistance, then pull back a little and hold that position. A stretch maintained for about 20 seconds is the most effective type of extension.
