Choline is also known as amanitine, lipotropic factor; it is an active constituent of lecithin. Choline is a water soluble member of the Vitamin B complex. It is not a real vitamin as it is synthesized in the liver.

Choline Promotes Fat Metabolism

Choline is required for efficient fat metabolism. Without sufficient choline fats can slow down metabolism by becoming trapped in the liver.
