Superwet Liposuction SurgeryThis superwet liposuction surgical technique replaces the dry method of liposuction by utilizing fluids that are pumped into the tissues that will be surgically operated on. The wet method liposuction differs from the tumescent method because the targeted fat is not filled with as much fluid. Superwet liposuction surgery uses a saline solution that contains a local anesthetic and adrenaline that is injected into the area the patient wishes to be treated. The solution allows the fat deposits to break up easier so that the surgeon can extract it. In addition, the extra fluid minimizes trauma that can occur to the surrounding tissue. This allows for a reduced amount of pain as well as swelling. Certain risks are reduced with the superwet liposuction technique because the solution containing adrenaline decreases bleeding during the procedure.
